The 2010 Prius Connection – Detroit

grey under display.jpgSince its inception, the Toyota Prius has developed a cult-like following and loyalty that few other cars have replicated.  Toyota built on this enthusiasm by organizing a special event in Detroit catering to influential Prius owners in the community for the debut of the 2010 Toyota Prius

After an evening of meeting and greeting some of the most well-known Prius enthusiasts online, the group prepared for the release of the 2010 Toyota Prius at the North American International Auto Show.

Grey Covered.jpgThe group was bussed to a ‘secret location’ where they were introduced to three mysterious cars covered in bright red Toyota fitted car covers.  We mingled and enjoyed some food and drinks until it was time for the biggest Prius enthusiasts in the country to meet the next generation of the car that made “Hybrid” a household term.

The expected 50 miles per gallon speaks for itself, but for a full look at the 2010 Toyota Prius, check out the galleries of the three displays, as well as the drivetrain “cut-a-way”.
