Denying the Middle East my petrodollars was one of my strongest reasons for buying a Prius.

I worked two years for ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia. They told me not to sign on unless I was willing to stay 5 years. The Saudis bought the company from the American owners shortly after I got over there, and I was sent packing after only 2 years. I've been driving very fuel-efficient cars ever since. Payback's a *****.

It is important that we reduce our dependency on foreign oil, and stop sending our wealth to the bad neighborhoods of the world.
