The other thing that cracked me up was another related article had Art Spinella (of CNW Marketing infamy), happily declaring that the Volt would spell the "doom of hybrids".
FOOL!
The Volt *IS* a hybrid. It's a very advanced hybrid, but it's still a hybrid. I also doubt someone interested in a Lexus "power hybrid" is going to suddenly drive a Volt either.
The Volt would be a very nice addition to the available selection of hybrids, however.
