CO has one of the highest state tax incentives in the country, when a *new* Prius is purchased -- somewhere in the order of US$ 3K. If the Fed tax deduction is added (about $500, depending on tax bracket), it makes a brand new package 4 cost around $20K. Neither incentive is available for a used Prius.

So this dealer is starting out some $6 - 8K over anything approaching a reasonable price. Car salesman. Blech
