The owner's manual states the towing capacity as "Not recomended" so Toyota has published this in a very easy to find location.

I personally don't think there is a problem towing, especially if you keep the toatl weight of car and trailer under the gross vehicle weight limit. But then again, most people exceed this limit without towing. I also don't think there would be any suspension problems, but the HSD might not like too much of a load.
