Default Re: Highlander Hybrid vs Ford Escape

Yea... you need to read the entire reports... some funny things about the toyota results...

"Consumer groups have been sharply critical of the government's new testing because it has inflated grades for some vehicles. For example, the Toyota Tacoma tipped up on two wheels, yet still received three of five stars on the test. "The result defies common sense and it gives a misleading impression to the consumer," said R. David Pottle of the Consumers Union in a Wall Street Journal report."

btw... I never see ANY Highlander Hybrid pictures offroad... Oh yea, thats right, Toyota states that the Highlander Hybrid is NOT to be used offroad... too bad. btw, Ford put the Escape Hybrid thru the TRUCK durability testing.. not the car tests like other manufactures did.
I notice you did not discuss the Prius recalls...
