In my case, about 20-25,000 miles per year so my payoff time is a lot shorter. Now my wife has done 25,000 miles in 5 years. I don't care if she drives something that looks like an M1 tank since she doesn't put enough miles on the odometer per year to matter. Heck, it would encourage her to keep it parked and let me driver her in our 52 MPG Prius.
