Default Re: Length of warrenty of hybrids in CA?

I live in Calif and briefly considered buying my new 2006 HCH2 in Oklahoma, but first checked on which warranty I'd get.
I new there were two and I wanted the longer one.
I believe Honda told me I get the warranty that is in effect for the first state the car is registered in.

BTW, the 2006 is a 50-state car, this means all 50 states get AT-PZEV hybrids (Very nice of Honda to volunteer to do this, they are making cleaner cars than they have to)
Back in 2004 the HCH1 was NOT a 50-state car.
AT-PZEVs were sold in the 5 clean states and SULEVs sold in the other 45.

I believe this 10/150K warranty only applies to AT-PZEVs.
I believe there is a sticker under your engine hood that tells you which you have.

Did you buy it new and first register it in California?

BTW, I did buy a new 2004 HCH and register it in California and got the 10/150k. (I have since sold that car)

Drive a hybrid.
Best tank 71.65 MPG.

Before this car I spent two years learning hypermiling on my 2004 HCH1.
