I'm totally with Delta Flyer there. What makes one consider a hybrid driving at or just below the speed limit is an impediment, especially on a freeway? There is something much more wrong and unsafe about tailgaiting a sensible driver, followed by jackrabbiting around them. And then it is the foolish jackrabbit's own fault that his/her FE will be diminished by such aggression.

Further, it's lemmingish to say, 'Hey, everyone better keep up with traffic that is going 15mph over the legal limit. Oh, and when you hit the middle of the bridge, take a sharp right!'

Not trying to inflame things. I just share the concern about hard-to-shake myths regarding driver behavior and traffic flow.
