Given the inspection list posted above, if a warranty claim came up, and the owner stated "I did all the inspections myself and everything appeared OK", and the SM balked and said "are you a Toyota-trained mechanic?"
--what then? How can the vehicle owner win this argument from the 800lb gorilla?
I like doing as much maintenance work as possible, but will owner-performed "inspections" be accepted by the gorilla?
