I have used my TCH to jump my 1993 toyota T100 pickup about 3 or 4 times now with no trouble. The battery in the trunk actually makes it very convenient. I had asked about jumping other vehicles at the time I bought my TCH, because this was a concern for me. They said no problem.
Perhaps your concern is jumping the TCH with another vehicle.
