I just don't know if many people would consider changing your entire diet to be an 'easy' thing. Think of all the people out there trying to lose weight who have plenty of very strong motivations to alter the set of foods they eat, but can't. Going vegetarian is not a small thing. Small things are CFLs and shopping for energy star appliances. Just my opinion- lifestyle changes are asking more of people than a few simple consumer choices. They probably have more of an impact, too, but that's always the way.
