Just a thought but you might look at Ebay for some of those 'super magnets.' You might be able to use a couple of the small ones, about an inch in diameter, and get enough force to hold the sign on. You'll need to use a flexible, plastic compatible adhesive, perhaps a GE silicon or RTV to hold them on the sign. . . . Just a suggestion.
