I'm 6'2", 235lb, and my son is 6'4". You'll do fine with legroom, but I strongly recommend avoiding the moonroof-- it is the headroom that is marginal.

If you can get a good deal on a 2007 (w.o. moonroof) and plan to keep the car long enough that the difference in depreciation won't predominate, take it! There is no real difference between the 2007 and 2008 other than the 2008 has a lower price with some options removed and is $150 more with the same equipment.
