Honda has already announced plans to introduce a new 2.2L four cylinder clean diesel in the US market in 2009, likely in the Accord. Honda CEO Takeo Fukui also discussed a diesel V-6 in an interview last December in Automotive News. It now looks like one or both of the engines will turn up in the Acura lineup, at least in Japan, by 2010.
