It's sad that we haven't progressed much in the electric car realm since then. I think most of that is because of the speeds associated with gas vehicles and the constant "rush mentality" of today's motorists.

I really wonder what it'll take to make today's motorists to realize that getting somewhere fast isn't the best thing for the environment.
