Not unless you are going down that hill REALLY slowly....AutoStop only kicks in below 15
MPH.....
What I do in situations like that is "reboot" the HCH. Search "reboot" on this site to see the full description and dangers/warnings for using this method, but in certain situations I use it freely and without fear of negative consequences...to each their own however, so please do the research of the Pros and Cons before using that method...
