Yeah I think you are right. This is not for the hybrid.

I was just thinking about this from the liability standpoint. Most vehicles have to be put into gear manually and somebody has to step on the gas for them to take off. But with the hybrid the "Transmission", the "Gas" and the "Brake" are controlled by the HAL 3000!

Just think of the law suit if somebody got ran over by a remotely started hybrid going 50 miles per hour... Especially if it was a Ford Factory authorized accessory... That would be like hitting the Powerball for some lucky attorney!
