I live in AZ and this seems to be the best weather (IMO) for a hybrid. This is why I purchased a HCH and a TCH. I drive on the freeway at 75
mph (45 miles one way to work) with my tires inflated to 32 psi with the AC on in the summer I always get 45 MPG. In the winter I always get 49-51 MPG with out trying. Yes you do need to learn how to drive a hybrid and not just jump in the car and drive like your last car. If you do this...well you should never of purchased a hybrid. I believe I could get better MPG if I bumped my PSI up on my tires, but with a 2-year old in the car I would rather play it safe.
