This is my least favorite part of owning a hybrid. My friend has a Civic (not a hybrid) and always is like "OH MY GOD I GET 35 MPG!!!!" and I'm always like "Yeah, well. I'm getting 40-60 and my car is twice as big as yours" and he never believes me (and he's ridden in the car and seen the energy displays and whatnot).

I still get questions from people at work WHY I traded in an Envoy for a hybrid after only owning the Envoy for 6 months? Gee, I can't friggin imagine.
