Folks.... that !@#$%&* Seat Belt noise thing finally broke me today as I cruised unbelted at 4
mph in the airport parking lot.
I got home, pulled the seat out and put a meter to the leads from the SB latch trying to ascertain NO or NC, momentary or what. Imagine my surprise to find a hall effect sensor in the GD thing. It's a freaking logic state shift... for the love of all that is holy.
Putting voltage across it fried something and now I have SRS and SB both flashing at me continuously.
Before I break anything else, will a CAN buss OBD2 tool reset these DTC's? Or did I really break it?
Any help or advice is appreciated.
