I had a feeling you were going to ask that. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea what it means. rgx seems to have a better understanding that I do.

This is what is in the manual, it didn't really help me though:

If the word "Error 1" is indicated, there is a malfunction in the communication line between the gauge control module (tach) and the fast-controller area network (F-CAN). Check for DTC in the PCM and troubleshoot and DTCs found. If no DTCs are found, go to B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
If you have an OBDII scanner or other fault code reader, try and get the codes and I can tell you how to fix them. You also need a fault code reader to do the B-CAN system Diagnosis Test.
If you do not have a scanner, the manual says do this:
1. Check fuse No. 23 (10 A)
(the rest of the steps reqquire an MPCS service connector that you probably do not have, so I'm not going to type them.



Or.... you could just take it to your dealer.
I'm not sure what your 'symptoms' would be tho.
