Hope you're not a AAA policy holder or employee... What got me rankled is the fact that the girl,her father, and AAA tried to blame my wife for causing the accident.. After seeing the police report they have since changed their "tune".. If they had owned up to their responsibility I wouldn't have had to get our insurance co. involved... Geico has done an excellent job, they paid for the Escape repairs, minus our deductible, on the spot at the Ford dealer... and they, as I will have to collect from AAA for that part.. By the way, we got a great deal on an 08 Camry Hybrid, and will have to sell the Escape at a diminished value, even our Ford dealer didn't want it on their lot...and they're fixing it... So we'll probably have to sue AAA for that and rental car fees,extra gas, one dr. visit (some "soft tissue" bruising, finger tingling), lost sleep, aggravation, lost work hrs... All because they decided to shirk their responsibility.. and now they've turned me into a "Hockey" player, and as Jim Carey said recently on Letterman, "hockey players want vengeance..."
We'll see what happens, good thing I'm self employed, so I can devote an
hr a day it takes to deal with this mess..
