Allow me to change the tense- English major- Toyota and Honda ARE the dominant hybrid market leaders. SHAME ON THE AMERICAN CAR COMPANIES for NOT jumping on hybrids sooner. The only shame on the Japanese is that they crushed the RAV4 EV (Toyota) and Honda had the most economical hybrid in the world but chose to discontinue production because there is supposedly no demand for this type of vehicle.
