Well I've owned a HCH 2 which I sold some months (got a new company car), but now I'm going to be buying a Prius. In my opnion you have to work much, much harder in the Honda to achieve the figures shown in this forum, compared to the prius. You can't force the Honda to run on electric only (very handy in stop go freeway driving). Once again, in my opinion the Honda is not a full time hybrid like the Prius. The ICE is running most of the time - except for when you stop at lights....and even then if you take you foot off the brake pedal and reapply it more than a couple of times at the lights, the ICE will not shut down at all!
The Prius is bigger inside too.
