What about the water usage if it is reverse osmosis. Water isn't free, even if you have your own well. ...and, if you do have your own well, you probably also have a septic tank like me, and a possible a capacity issue there. There could also be some power requirement for pumps, etc. during processing.

The real savings would come if it could use carbohydrate byproducts instead of sugar -- like beet pulp! or grape crush. That stuff is cheap and loaded with potential energy.
