Default Re: here's my situation

"I have no credit yet because I've never had bills and i just got my card."

So, how will you get financing for the car? Even if you can find a company willing to loan you $25,000 on a depreciating asset, you have no credit history, so you'll be paying about 9% interest. On a 5-year loan, the payment will be $520 per month.

You didn't mention your age or driving record, but you can count on another $100 per month for insurance.

If you're making $34,000 per year, that's about $650 per week. After taxes, it's about $450 a week, which is just under $2000 per month take-home. Your $600/mo. car expenses would leave you with just $1400 per month to pay for food, clothing, shelter, entertainment, etc.

In other words, your life will suck if you buy this car. But it's a moot point, since I don't think you can get financing, anyway.

A previous post had it right -- buy a used hybrid for now.
