Do you WANT to stand out of the crowd?
The article states that Honda thinks their hybrid market share is hurting because they don't have a visually distinctive "green" car. Toyota has a very recognizable car in the Prius.
I chose the Honda because it WASN'T distinctive. It looks very similar to other Civic sedans. I have never wanted a "standout" type car. My last vehicle was a 2001 White Ford Taurus SE, exactly like about 4,000 OK government vehicles.
What about you? Do you see the hybrid car as a "statement" or "status symbol"? Are you looking to be anonymous, or noticeable?
