Washington State already has enough division between the counties, especially east and west, I don't see much need for every county to choose their own time zone. I'm inclined to believe that if that were to come to fruition, hypothetically, King County would choose some off the wall time zone to join just to be obstinate.

Anyway, I think holding DST around for another month would be pleasant, and frankly I don't mind dark mornings. I've never been a morning person anyway. However, I'm still going to have to heat my house in the morning in the winter, and in the evening when I come home. I seriously doubt that it will have any significant impact on my winter heating bill.
