I would have the oil and fluids in transmission and crankcase checked or changed. Your electrical connections will probably corrode in future. I think you are in for trouble later on. You might want to think of quickly trading on a 06!

Why do people think they can drive through water in a car? I did it in when a teenager. I knew the water was not deep where I went. It was only 10-12 inches, but on my 49 Plymouth the distributer was on lower side on motor, so you guessed it, it quit in the middle of this water. Had to puch it out and dry out the distributer to get it going. Just saw someone drive a car right in water on the hurricane news. Guy had to be rescued. It was not a puddle, but DEEP!
