I seem to remember that a limited number of HOV stickers will be given out. If that is your priority, and they are still available, do not wait. Perhaps your DMV can inform you ?

ohh, one other "I think I remember" item: the HOV sticker has a limited life. Decide if it is worth it, because I suspect it is *very* unlikely that single passenger HOV will be extended.
