I know what you mean. I've been running my Durango 4x4 around for 5 years now, averaging about 13.25 mpg. After Katrina blew through and wiped out our gasoline supply lines and prices jumped to $3.15 per gallon in my area I bought a used 2003 HCH and am currently driving my wife's Dodge Intrepid while I wait for delivery of the Civic. I think a lot of people will be considering and buying hybrids in the near future if they haven't already.
