I think the GM so-called hybrid system is close to being *nothing*. Yeah, let's pay a $4,000 premium for a mini-van or truck that gets 1-4 MPG more than the standard model.

I truly believe GM is releasing this piece of crap design for the sole purpose of KILLING the hybrid movement. I can just hear it now: all the leadfoot soccer moms will be whining, "I spent all this extra money for a hybrid van, and it gets lousy mileage and breaks down all the time!"

And then there will be congressional investigations, lawsuits, and class action reparations. All part of the GM Master Plan.

After that... the coal-burning HUMMER H2/c...
