Well, Jorge, let's not be TOO hasty there ....

It is yet to be determined if the 2006 Prius will beat the 2006 Civic Hybrid in miles per gallon. With the Civic Hybrids on this website averaging 46.5 MPG and the Prius II averaging 48 MPG, and the new Civic getting a "new improved IMA system" it is really too early ( and without data to support that statement ) to say the the Prius beats the Civic in the MPG area. We just don't know yet if that will be true, and my guess is that the new Civic Hybrid will at least equal the real world MPG of the Prius, and a lot of people on this site think so too.

And to say Toyota "has a better hybrid system" is also just an opinion. Honda likes their system just fine, and you could start a HUGE discussion about "which Hybrid system is better" BUT LET'S PLEASE DO NOT START THAT discussion.

Let's just all agree to agree that BOTH systems are GREAT and do the job BEAUTIFULLY !!!
