The article basically says "Think twice before buying a hybrid." More brilliant advice from journalists. We would certainly be lost without them.

This got me to thinking: I don't recall ever seeing an article that proposed that people "Think twice before buying that huge gas-guzzling SUV."

Hmmm. Just as many articles about that as there were warning us to "Think twice before investing in the dot-com boom."

I think I'm seeing a trend here.
