I don't follow you. The GPS unit in the car is a receiver, not a transmitter, so it can't be used to track down the vehicle. At least, not that I'm aware of. There ARE aftermarket GPS units that allow the vehicle to be tracked via the internet, but I haven't ever heard of a factory installed GPS device that does.
