Re: Are Gas Prices Straining Your Budget?
Delta Flyer - Jeez. You always have good ideas for polls.
My wife and I, back when gas prices hit $2 a gallon, decided to ration ourselves by sticking to spending $240 a month in gas. (Which actually bought $250 worth because of prepaid card discounts of 4%)
We're still sticking to that $240 a month, but to do so obviously we've cut our driving down by 33%. ($240 used to buy 120 gallons, now it buys between 80 and 100.)
So, straining the budget? Nope. Straining my freedom? Somewhat!
