Eh, I think I disagree with you there. Hybrids, at this point, don't usually save people money unless they drive a LOT. In addition, people who buy hybrids (so far) have been economically better off than those who don't. It's a decision made after taking into account much more than gas prices. Of course, we also have a small sample size here.
