I know someone said that 2005 was a $2000 deduction (which kinda sucks for me) but luckily I live in Colorado and they are giving tax credits for about the same amount. I was expecting 2 credits, but 1 will help out anyway!

The point of this post, check what your state offers too, some will provide additional bonuses. I know there was a website out there that listed what each state is doing, but I don't know it off hand. I'll try to find that again.
