This post mentions a
toptiergas that Toyota was a part of. One of the sepeculations put forth in the thread is that since it's gasohol the toptiergas will lower your mileage, although may keep your engine cleaner.

Anybody consider the possiblity that the pumps aren't quite as "calibrated" as those state stickers claim. It could explain a wide variance in percieved FE from station to station. One of the local stations always pumps more gas than we expect when we fill there, so we've stopped using it.
