OK now you've REALLY got me curious.....
What kind of "power" do you need to drive yourself three miles? Do you have a steep uphill along the way, or do you have a 50
MPH road? Do you have to merge into oncoming traffic at a high speed or something?
I ask because I'm targeting a Segway for myself in a couple of years to cut my vehicle commute almost in half. My kid's school is about 4 miles from my work, and I plan to park the car in the remote lot at the school everyday, then pull the Segway out of the trunk and "Electric Glide" the rest of the way to work. I have sidewalks ALMOST the whole way - will have to ride in the bike lane part of the trip. So I'm naturally curious about personal craft like scooters and Segways......
