Tell me a little more about the nav system. Does it get down to street level, How do I type in an address that I want to get to? Does it give proper directions, in your experience? Are you in an urban or rural area. I'm in Maine, near Bangor, and the dealer here says he's never sold an Escape with the nav system. He can't tell me anything about the specifics of it, and the Ford web site isn't very helpful either. Do you have a web site for the manufactorer? My wife is running for statewide office and while we know how to get to any town in Maine, finding the street address can sometimes be a problem. If I can type in a street addres and this thing will find it, great, otherwise we'll still use Yahoo before we head out the door.

And as I understand it, the nav CD has to be in the indash unit all the time, but while it's working you can also play music from any of the underseat CDs, so the thing can actually be reading the indash and underseat units at the same tiem?
