I run:
5k oil & filter
10k air filter & rotate tires
50k fuel filter & tranny flush

got that from my daddy, who got it from his daddy...

not because of any science or gut instinct, but because its EASY to remember- no need to pull out the maint log to recall when it was last done.

I never thought of using the dealer as my 0W20 source!!
