Fair enough. It would be fine if you just wrote about backing into parking spots to save gas. Even cute. But you're going overboard by beating people over the head when they say they can't or won't do it. Please spare us the moral arguments. The reason I mentioned supermarket drives and home heating bills is that, when it comes to "environmental morality", those things are much more significant than your parking lot maneuvers.
