That's true, Honda Corp. USA sells too many normal gas version Civic's to lose that line. Not only that too many people in the US are "not ready" for hybrid vehicles and are not ready to accept the need for change. However, over the next few years more and more people will see the benefits of a hybrid vehicle and be ready to buy. With lower prices, people who might be on the fence might be enticed to buy. Also, with the combination of lower prices and more advanced technology could make a HCH gen III rise to the top for all around FE, emissions and versatility.
