Hi,

Ford excluded their hybrid Escape from the fixed-price, employee pricing program last fall. Their price quote, $27 k, was pretty steep and we still would have had to wait. However we used their quote to get loan clearance from our bank.

For our used, 03 Prius, we only had to finance $16.3 k from the bank which gave us $308/mo. car payments . . . quite reasonable.

Now if the Traveller's auto insurance discount turns out to be real, we'll be very, very happy.
