In fact, I had all the chrome on my 75 GrandVille painted. My car was all black except for the aluminum 6-spoke rims which had black inset. I personally think you have a nice color HCH-II coming. If anything, powdercoating them the Magnetic Pearl would have a nice look. But that is the my personal feelings.

You are going to drive the car like you would basically anything else (not hypermiling), so get what you like, and be happy!!! You have one of the best cars on the market, enjoy it for those who do not.
