There are still many people who don't access the Internet, or don't have broadband access, so print is still a viable medium. A dual approach may be the way to go. Numerous publishers use this approach successfully, Scientific American, Popular Science, Consumer Reports, and many many others.
It might be a little early for a hybrid only magazine, maybe not. But why limit the scope to hybrids as the modern connotation implies, gas-electric ala Prius, HCH etc. Open it up to all the alternatives to current petroleum based ICE vehicles. Doing so may yield larger more viable readership/subscriber base, as well as a larger community of content providers.
