Default Comments after first month w/ HCH06

I am in southern Cal, so HOV was important along with obvious reduced gas costs, emissions and tax incentives.

I received my HOV stickers in 3 weeks- mailed 1/2/06 received in mail 1/28/06 from Sacramento.

I am getting ~41-42 mpg driving mostly so cal freeways for work. This is 30-40% improvement over my old 94 Integra. I drive the same as I did with my acura, so I don't know if those getting 50 mpgs drive very differently.

The average mpg calculation gauge reads all over the place, going from ~30-48 mpg within a few miles. I find in general it underestimates my efficiency, but it also depends on the where its reading across its widely varying range swings.

I am enjoying the feel and comfort of the car and don't regret not choosing the prius, which I also considered.

Enjoy your clean cars!
