Hooray for more realistic EPA testing standards! Obviously the 2006 (rated 25/34) gets the same mileage as the 2005 (rated 30/37), they're just using more realistic testing standards for hybrids now, though it's not yet the overhaul they plan on doing. The Accord I-4 is still 26/34 (manual) and 24/34 (automatic).

I'm glad of this because it means the Camry Hybrid (43/37) would be that much better, assuming Toyota used the EPA's revised hybrid testing procedures when they stated that figure.

Of course, what will this mean for hypermiler status on this website? People need only exceed 29 mpg in the HAH now!
